HUBZone, a program put in place to fuel small business growth in historically underutilized business zones, announced its certification of Tactis as a HUBZone. This milestone is a significant achievement for the company as it validates its philosophy of giving, while continuing to support clients across all points of communication, combining human touch with digital expertise to create outcomes that matter.
The HUBZone program, as defined by the US Small Business Administration (SBA), has the goal of awarding at least three percent of federal contract dollars to HUBZone-certified companies each year in order to drive small business growth.
Tactis President and CEO Adam Slagowski weighed in on the mutually beneficial value of certification saying that, “Our HUBZone certification enables government buyers the ability to obtain world class CX strategy and implementation services while attaining challenging HUBZone subcontracting goals.”
For Tactis, this news comes in the wake of several recent initiatives and accomplishments, including selection by Federal Prisons Industry (FPI) as Strategic Cross-channel Marketing Partner for the UNICOR brand; engagement with Alaska Public Lands Information Center (APLIC) for crucial Drupal 9 upgrade; and NDC partnership to design climate action-oriented website for global audience for D9.
