Tactis Employee & Contractor SMS Communications — Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Tactis Employee & Contractor SMS Communications program provided by Tactis, LLC ("Tactis").
 

Program Description

The Tactis Employee & Contractor SMS Communications program allows existing Tactis employees and contractors who have opted in to communicate with Tactis by text message regarding internal support and administrative matters.

Messages may include communications concerning:

  • Human Resources matters;
  • Employee absence and attendance notifications;
  • Employment-related inquiries;
  • IT support;
  • System, account, software, and hardware issues;
  • Responses to support requests; and
  • Other administrative matters related to the individual's employment or contractor relationship with Tactis.

This SMS program is not used for marketing or promotional communications.
 

Enrollment and Consent

Employees and contractors may voluntarily opt in to receive SMS communications from Tactis through Tactis's authorized consent process.

By opting in, you authorize Tactis to send SMS/text messages to the mobile telephone number you provide for the purposes described in these Terms.

Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of employment or engagement with Tactis.

You are responsible for providing a mobile telephone number that you are authorized to use and for notifying Tactis if that number changes.
 

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. The number and frequency of messages you receive will depend upon your interactions with Tactis, the support requests you initiate, and the Human Resources, IT, or administrative communications applicable to you.
 

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply to messages sent to or received from Tactis. Tactis is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
 

Opting Out — STOP

You may opt out of the Tactis Employee & Contractor SMS Communications program at any time by replying STOP to a Tactis SMS message.

After you send STOP, you may receive a message confirming your opt-out. You will no longer receive SMS messages through the applicable program unless you subsequently opt in again through an authorized Tactis process.

Opting out of SMS does not prevent Tactis from communicating with you through other appropriate channels, including email, telephone, HRIS notifications, or other company communication systems.

Supported Carriers and Delivery

SMS delivery is subject to wireless carrier availability and network conditions. Tactis does not guarantee that SMS messages will be delivered or received within a particular period of time.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
 

Privacy

Information collected and processed through the Tactis Employee & Contractor SMS Communications program is handled in accordance with the Tactis SMS Privacy Policy, available at:

Tactis does not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
 

Changes to the SMS Program or These Terms

Tactis may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS program or update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
